ARE CONSULTATIONS REQUIRED?

Consultations are part of your appointment and are not required prior to your appointment day, unless you have previous brow work or if you prefer to come in prior to scheduling an appointment.

WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT?

Initial appointment for any of the techniques (Microblading, Powder Brows or Combo Brows): $375

Touch up appointment (required 5-8 weeks after initial appointment): $125

Colorboost (1-3 years after initial appointment): $200

Prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, clients will retain the same price they see at the time of booking their appointment.

I HAD MY BROWS DONE WITH ANOTHER PROFESSIONAL, CAN I SCHEDULE A TOUCH UP?

Touch ups are only for existing clients. Anyone who has had their brows done elsewhere is considered a new client, at full price for initial session. In some cases, we are able to go over the old work, if the brows are mostly faded and if the shape looks good. Clients with existing procedure must send clear brow pictures, without makeup or filter to sitorrespmu@gmail.com before booking an appointment. We will take a look at the pictures and see if you are a good candidate for the service.

WHICH TECHNIQUE SHOULD I BOOK?

During your appointment, we will discuss which technique would be the best option for you, so it is totally fine if you’re not sure yet. You can book any of the initial sessions and we can decide on your appointment day. All techniques are priced the same.

DOES IT HURT?

Everyone’s pain level is different, so it varies between clients, since some people are more sensitive than other. Most clients report little to no pain during the procedure. Some clients even fall asleep! A topical numbing cream is applied throughout the procedure to make sure you are comfortable.

WHAT IS THE PRE-CARE NECESSARY PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT?

In order to achieve a beautiful final result, some preparation is necessary before your appointment. Here are some things you must follow prior to the procedure:

24 HOURS PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT:

-Avoid alcohol and excessive caffeine

-Do not take blood thinners, such as Ibuprofen, Advil, Fish oil and Vitamin E.

-Avoid exercising the day of the procedure and plan to avoid it for a few days

2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT:

-Botox on forehead, temple and eye area must be avoided at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

-Avoid prolonged sun exposure or tanning

-No brow waxing, threading, tweezing, tinting or brow lamination (I will be removing the extra hair as part of your service)

4 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE APPOINTMENT

-Do not have any facials, microdermabrasion or chemical peelings!

-Discontinue Retinols, chemical and laser peels and acids, such as salicylic and glycolic. (It is extremely important to stop using retinols and any products with it at least two weeks before your appointment. They make your skin super sensitive and will cause poor healing and pigment retention.

-You are welcome to bring brow inspiration pictures to your appointment, so we can have an idea of brow what style you like!

WHAT ARE THE AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS?

The aftercare Instructions must be followed in order to achieve a sucessful brow retention at the end of the process. Here’s how you should care for your brows after the procedure:

-Gently wash your eyebrow area morning and evening for 7 days. Do not rub the brows for any reason. After cleansing, please gently pat dry with a clean cloth or tissue and apply a very thin layer of the aftercare lotion.

THE FOLLOWING MUST BE AVOIDED FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS AFTER THE PROCEDURE:

-Make up on brow area

-Sweating

-Sun exposure

-Lotions, face wash

-Acne and anti-aging products

-Sun or salon tanning (Wear a hat when outdoors).

-Peeling, picking or scratching the brows. That will remove the pigment)

THE FOLLOWING MUST BE AVOIDED FOR AT LEAST A MONTH AFTER THE PROCEDURE:

-Lasers, chemical peels, acids, microdermabrasion & facials.

-Retinol (vitamin A derivatives, retin-A, Tretinoin) should not be used on forehead at any point after having your brows tattooed - it will result in blurred hair strokes and discoloration.

DO I NEED A TOUCH UP?

All the brow procedures are a two step process, so a 5-8 week touch up appointment is strongly recommended after your first session. The touch up appointment is necessary to make sure your brows healed good and to make adjustments if needed. Touch up fee is $100.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

Make sure you read all the pre care and after care instructions and everything is good for the appointment. The forms (I’ll send you as soon as the appointment is booked) should be submitted at least 48h prior the procedure.

You are welcome to bring brow inspiration pictures, but also make sure you like the work you see on my website/Facebook/Instagram. PMU artists usually have different styles.

You can wear makeup if you prefer! I’ll be taking some before and after pictures (if you’re ok with it!)

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IMMEDIATELY AFTER MY APPOINTMENT?

Right after getting your brows done, you may experience minor redness around the treated are, which usually goes away within 24 hours. In the first few days, the color may look a little darker and warmer, which is normal. The pigment usually fades anywhere from 20-40% during healing process.

Around day 3-4 you may notice a little scabbing and flaking on the brows. This is normal and it is important that you DO NOT pick the scabs, doing so will result in loss of pigment in those areas and can cause scarring. Brows may appear patchy until they are finish healing. This is part of the process and it is important that you do not apply make up on them and keep following all the after care steps. Once all the flaking is gone (usually around day 10), the brows will appear much lighter than when freshly done. The pigment will darken over the next 4-5 weeks and the color will return to the skin. At 4-6 weeks, the brows will be fully healed and ready for a touch up. If they faded too much or if the pigment does not return to the skin, that can be fixed on the touch up appointment. During this appointment, we will be able to asses your pigment retention, touch up the spots that did not stick and we can adjust the color. After the touch up visit you will have beautiful brows for 12-24 months (it can vary from client to client).

WHAT ARE COLOR BOOSTS AND WHEN CAN I BOOK THEM?

Color boosts are color refreshers and can be done usually from 1-3 years after your first procedure. They are bookable only for existing clients. To book a colorboost, your brows need to be at least 50% faded. Please email photos to sitorrespmu@gmail.com to ensure you are ready for a colorboost before booking it.

WILL PERMANENT MAKEUP REPLACE MY MAKEUP?

Permanent Makeup is a great option for defining and enhancing the brows, but while makeup sits on top of your skin, PMU is going in your skin, so it does not look as dramatic and shiny once healed.

HOW LONG DOES THE APPOINTMENT TAKE?

-The initial session -which includes consultation and procedure - usually takes between 2.5 to 3h.

-Touch ups usually 1.5h to 2h

-Colorboost usually 2h to 2.5h

HOW LONG WILL MY BROWS LAST?

The longevity of permanent cosmetics vary depending on clients skin type, age, metabolism, lifestyle and proper care. The sun and some kinds of lighting, like tanning beds, can affect the longevity of the procedure. The brow tattoo tends to fade over time, but we are unable to predict exactly how long they will last. In most cases it takes 12-24 months before a color boost is needed.

Please note that final results vary and CANNOT be guaranteed due to different skin types.

A 3% fee is added to all credit card transactions and a 6% fee is added to Afterpay transactions. Please let us know if you want to use Afterpay as a payment method prior to your appointment.
